Father David Tobin I.C.
A potted biography
Fr. David Tobin was born in India during the Second World War into a military family. Shortly after coming to the UK he started his education with the Rosminians at Grace Dieu Manor Preparatory School followed by Ratcliffe College.
The following fifty years he has been a member of the Institute of Charity Rosminians. The first half of these years were in formation and training with a number of years in teaching and headmastering in the same two schools.
Subsequently he moved to the apostolate of retreats and spirituality, mainly working in New Zealand and South Wales. The last decade was spent working in Rome on the Council of Fr. General. In 2009 he returned to Ratcliffe College in a pastoral role. He has been involved each year in guiding one or two retreats.
